Do women now attempt at being a man that they try to compete with everything they think men do?

For example, sleeping around used to be thought of as a man thing only. Same thing with cheating. Women in the past say that men who cheat disgust them, and women who cheat disgust them all the more. But now it seems that more and more women cheat as much, if not more, than men do for the sake of feeling empowered. What did this so-called female empowerment teach all of us? Is it nothing but just a poor attempt at being the men they say disgust them?
