Do you know anyone who's been scammed by postal "lottery wins"?

Hi I know of someone who nearly was, until i explained to them that it was a scam, and when you do actually win the lottery you do not pay any money out, people who are behind these scams should be jailed and the key thrown away they cause so much misery. I have had numerous scam letters, i have even posted them back with a "Shame Shame we know your game" letter inside. I have also had emails, and what gets me the most is when they pretend to be from your bank and you don't even bank with them. So now even if it's from the bank i bank with i do not reply.
