I stopped the pill 1 mth ago cause i am desperate to have a baby, and I'm now 1 week late?

but i have been diagnosed with poly cystic ovarian syndrome and have irregular periods thats why my dr put me on birth controls to regulate it. could i be pregnant if my hpt shows neg?
