Advice on overdue wedding ceremony fees?

I am getting married in July, and just realised that my wedding ceremony fees of £400 are due ‘no later than 8 weeks before the wedding’. It’s now five and a half weeks away… obviously the moment I saw this sentence I panicked. I rang my registry office straight away this afternoon, but they had just closed, and are not open again until Thursday! Now I am sick with worry that if the fees are late, they may have cancelled my booking! They would’ve rung me first to chase a late payment though, right? They wouldn’t just cancel it would they? Please someone help if you know the answer that can put my mind at rest till Thursday! FYI, the registry office is Saltash in Cornwall, Devon. Anyone have any similar experience with them?
