Does this count as domestic abuse?

Good on you for finally being able to see what he was doing, YES it is abuse, its one of the worst kinds because it leaves no VISIBLE marks and is easily hidden, it makes you lose your self esteem, make you feel worthless, makes you feel like nothing you do is right, that your a bad person and should be grateful he is even your partner,,,,,,,,, I could go on but I think you get the idea, and it looks like you have now been able to see the abuse now you are finally out of it, the problem with this sort of abuse it also lingers on and can effect future relationships so it might be a good idea to get some councelling, oh and if he was abusing you like that, you can bet he will eventually abuse his children the same way, lucky for them you have gotten them out of that now,but I ume he will still be seeing them so its something to watch out for as low self esteem in a child as he/she grows has such a bad effect for that child that it is harder to treat and can lead to all sorts of psycological problems later in life. I wish you all the best in getting past this stage and getting help. You took the first step realizing there might be a problem. Good Luck.
