FMS auto line #says i have no debts. i had an old student loan i have not paid. will my return be offset still?

If you received an offset warning from Where's My Refund then you will get a letter explaining the amount that is being taken from your refund. If the amount does not go over your expected refund then you will still get a check from them for the balance left. Hope this helps.
