I want to go to Virginia Tech, but my mom wants me to go to Rowan College of Engineering....what should I do?

I've wanted to go to VT all my high school career, but Rowan is a cheap and good school. I really feel at home when I'm at the VT campus...but my mom wants me to go to Rowan University...any suggestions on how to tell her that I don;t want to go to Rowan? Knowing mym om....she won't take this lightly.........
