Is there meat in gum?!?

gummy bears & other gummy candies andJello...contains gellatin a meat dirivitive however gum doesn't. I think the active ingredients come from trees in gum. however if you check around you can get gummy bears made without gellatin. and cornstarch makes their gummyness. when looking, look for the ones made with real fruit.
